Lower Eastern Shore

Distinguished Young Women of Lower Eastern Shore is part of a national scholarship program that promotes and rewards scholarship, leadership and talent in young women.

Cash scholarships are awarded at the local level and millions in college-granted scholarships are available ($1 billion nationally). And local winners will advance to the state program in  where they give away more than  in cash tuition scholarships.

And it’s FREE to participate!

Program Dates

Tentative Program Dates for the Class of 2019 are April 8 or 15, 2018 (TBA soon).
Class of 2019 Junior Girls who live in the following counties are eligible for this program:
Lower Eastern Shore: Worcester, Somerset, Wicomico, Dorchester,
Upper Eastern Shore: Talbot, Kent, Caroline, Queen Anne's

Deadline to apply online for the program is February 1, 2018 at: www.distinguishedyw.org. The program chair will call you to confirm and answer questions after you pre-register online.

The program is tentatively set to be held at Worcester Preparatory,
508 S Main Street, Berlin, MD 21811
(Tentative time is 9-5, with Showcase at 3pm)
